A non-partisan campaign
About
We are a non-partisan campaign concerned about India's Unique Identification (UID) or Aadhaar project. The campaign shares relevant data and findings from the ground on the experience of citizens with the system.
If Aadhaar's promise was inclusion, its lived reality has been exclusion: from rations and pensions, from school admissions and bank accounts, from medical treatment and voting rolls. We document those exclusions, and we resist the further entrenchment of a coercive identity model.
